Amazon appeals Pentagon's deal with Microsoft

Friday, 15. November 2019 02:06 Inc will challenge Pentagon's decision to award a deal on Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) worth $10 billion to Microsoft, Amazon Web Services announced. The company asserted it’s "important that these matters be examined and rectified," claiming that the bidding for the JEDI project included "clear deficiencies, errors, and unmistakable bias."

The US tech and e-commerce giant was the front-runner for the job before it was awarded to its rival Microsoft. The project aims to provide the military with better access to data and the cloud from battlefields.
