Amazon appeals Pentagon's deal with Microsoft

Friday, 15. November 2019 02:06 Inc will challenge Pentagon's decision to award a deal on Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) worth $10 billion to Microsoft, Amazon Web Services announced on Thursday. The company asserted it’s "important that these matters be examined and rectified," claiming that the bidding for the JEDI project included "clear deficiencies, errors, and unmistakable bias."

US tech and e-commerce giant used to be a front-runner for the job before it was awarded to rival Microsoft. The project aims to provide military better access to data and the cloud from battlefields.
