White House Trade Adviser Peter Navarro (pictured) sees no indication new tariffs won't be put on Chinese imports on December 15, adding it was up to the United States President Donald Trump do decide whether the duties will be implemented.

"It's the President's decision," Navarro stated adding that he had no evidence the president is "going to do anything other than have a great deal and put the tariffs on."

Earlier, White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said the tariffs were "still on the table" following media reports the deadline might have been postponed.
