Wall Street finishes higher, Dow up over 360 pts

Equities on the United States stock markets ended higher on Wednesday as more states went on easing lockdown measures and reopening shops and restaurants. Also, the US Treasury Department sold the 20-year bonds worth $20 billion at an auction, and the yield on the 20-year bonds was at 1.220%, with the bid-cover ratio at 2.530. Meanwhile, the US Senate unanimously passed the Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act that could lead to the delisting of Chinese companies from US exchanges.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average grew 369 points or 1.62% at the closing bell. The Walt Disney Co was the best performer, increasing 4.85%. The Nasdaq 100 was up 2.01% with Analog Devices surging 7.75%. The S&P 500 advanced 1.67% as MGM Resorts International gained 8.84%.

The euro traded 0.51% higher against the dollar at 4:02 pm ET, changing hands for $1.09781.
