Microsoft interested in Warner Bros' gaming unit - report

Microsoft is among several companies interested in acquiring Warner Bros' gaming unit, the Information reported on Monday citing two people familiar with the matter.

Other companies which have reportedly expressed interest in buying Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment include Take-Two, EA and Activision Blizzard.

However, Warner Bros' parent AT&T still hasn't decided if it will sell the gaming unit which is behind games such as Mortal Kombat, as well as those based on popular franchises such as Batman and Harry Potter.
