Wall Street falls premarket as Trump targets Chinese apps

Stocks on Wall Street declined in premarket trading on Friday after United States President Donald Trump announced his administration will impose sanctions on any American companies doing business with parent firms of Chinese apps TikTok and WeChat. Meanwhile, investors are awaiting the US jobs report for July due later in the day.

The Dow Jones lost 0.34% at 4:13 am ET, the Nasdaq 100 was down 0.33% and the S&P 500 decreased by 0.20% at the same time.

The euro slid 0.41% against the dollar to sell for 1.18272 at 4:14 am ET.
