US markets extend rally, Dow surges 300 pts

Equities on major US stock markets jumped further on Friday, the Dow Jones gained more than 300 index points after a report hinted the House Democrats could unveil their proposal for the country's next relief bill that is expected to be worth $2.4 trillion.

Meanwhile, investors' optimism over containing coronavirus increased as Johnson & Johnson agreed on a deal with Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing Inc. (GRAM) on the manufacturing of its trial vaccine against coronavirus, aiming to produce 100 million doses.

The Dow soared 1.32% at 3:08 pm ET with Boeing adding over 5% at 2:59 pm ET. The Nasdaq 100 jumped 2.31% as Trip.com gaining over 10% concurrently. The S&P 500 rose 1.63% at 3:08 pm ET with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings climbing over 12% at 3:01 pm ET. The euro ticked 0.37% lower against the dollar, changing hands for 1.16290 at 3:10 pm ET.
