Dow up 250 pts premarket with relief talks in focus

The Dow Jones Industrial Average index jumped more 250 points in premarket trade on Thursday as investors monitored the latest developments regarding additional economic stimulus legislation negotiations between the White House and Congress. Also, United States President Donald Trump signed a bill providing government funding through December 11, 2020.

The Dow Jones climbed 0.86%, or 240 points, at 4:21 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 advanced 0.90% and the S&P 500 grew by 0.76% at 4:24 am ET.

The euro rose by 0.12% against the dollar to go for 1.17345 at 4:26 am ET.
