Turkey seeking arrest of 295 army staff over Gulen links

Turkish prosecutors issued an arrest warrant on Friday for 295 members of its military over their alleged links to United States-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, whom Ankara is accusing of organizing the failed coup in 2016, Anadolu Agency reported citing judicial sources.

According to the report, the Turkish authorities accused the military personnel of communicating with Gulen's organization through payphones and home lines and noted that there are eight majors among those for whom the warrants were issued.
