Fox shares dive over 20% after spinoff

Shares of Fox Corp., which started trading on Tuesday as a standalone company after the acquisition of Twenty-First Century Fox Inc. by the Walt Disney Co., plummeted over 20% in their debut on the New York Stock Exchange.

The media company's Class A and Class B shares are listed on the Nasdaq 100 under the same ticker as Twenty-First Century Fox used to be - "FOX" and "FOXA."

At 12:30 pm ET, class A shares dove 23.10%, while class B shares tumbled 21.90%.
