Europe higher in premarket as earnings continue

European stocks traded higher in premarket on Wednesday as companies continued to release their earnings reports, including Airbus, BNP Paribas and Credit Suisse. Investors also awaited the release of further reports from Glencore and Lloyds Banking Group as well as economic data on German retail sales and British housing prices later in the day.

The German DAX was up 0.17% at 7:30 am CET while the FTSE rose 0.12% at the same time. The CAC gained 0.13% at 7:31 am CET.

The euro was flat against the dollar to go for 1.1156 at 7:30 am CET while the pound snapped a previous losing streak and jumped 0.12% against the greenback to go for 1.2163 at the same time.
