China's trade practices are worsening, United States Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said. Ahead of trade talks, Ross accused China of creating unfavorable conditions for other market participants by dumping and overcapacity.

Ross added that tariffs on Chinese products are in place so that China would pay attention to US worries on its trade practices.

Finally, the commerce secretary said he believes the entire global economy would profit if China followed global trade rules.
