United States President Donald Trump said on Thursday in a tweet that the United States took custody of two ISIS fighters, El Shafee Elsheikh and Alexanda Kotey, from the United Kingdom. The two belong to a UK ISIS group of fighters which were known as The Beatles. One of the four was killed in 2015 while another is in a Turkish prison.

Trump said: "In case the Kurds or Turkey lose control, the United States has already taken the 2 ISIS militants tied to beheadings in Syria, known as the Beetles, out of that country and into a secure location controlled by the U.S. They are the worst of the worst!"

It is believed that the two Beatles were in Kurdish custody until Turkey started its latest operation in northern Syria. Trump has repeatedly stressed that Washington doesn't want to keep ISIS members in its custody and called on European countries to take custody of their citizens which were members of terror groups.
