Russia's gold production jumps 9.26% in 2019

The volume of gold produced in Russia reached 343.54 tons in 2019, marking a growth of 9.26% compared to the previous year, the country's Ministry of Finance unveiled on Monday.

Mined gold output increased by 8.18% year-over-year to 286.05 tons, while production by passing surged 23.1% to 19 tons. Secondary gold output stood at 38.49 tons, jumping 11.4% annually.

The price of gold slid 0.41% at 2:55 am CET to sell for $1,728.42 per ounce.
