Airbus announced on Thursday its aircraft deliveries increased in July to 49 from 39 reported in June, as its business continues to recover from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The company stated all the planes delivered were narrow-body jets and added it has garnered its first order in three months, selling two A321neos to Lufthansa and two A320neos to an undisclosed customer.

Airbus recently reported that its revenue in the second quarter of the year dropped by 55% and that it delivered only 196 aircraft in the first half of 2020 as a result of the pandemic.
