US FAA to investigate Boeing 767 landing issue

United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said on Wednesday that it will investigate the issues The Boeing Company's 7677-300 aircraft experienced while landing in Los Angeles earlier in the day.

Local media reported that FedEx Flight 1026, carrying no passengers, has landed safely at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) after declaring an emergency. The plane's pilots allegedly reported an issue with the landing gear.

One of the pilots suffered a non-life-threatening injury and has been hospitalized, according to the reports.
