Director of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, Patrick Ky, revealed on Friday that test flights of Boeing's 737 Max aircraft "went well," adding that the end of the works is in sight.

The EASA's chief said that Boeing has agreed to install a "synthetic" third flight-angle sensor on the next version of its 737 Max plane.

Earlier in the week, senators from the United States urged the Federal Aviation Administration to publish its data about the review of Boeing's controversial airplane.
