US mixed in premarket after record close |

Major indexes on Wall Street were mixed on Wednesday after the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished a session above 30,000 points for the first time in history in the previous day. Additionally, investors were trading carefully as United States President-elect Joe Biden announced that the transition of power has begun even though President Donald Trump is yet to officially concede the election. The COVID-19 also remained in focus while vaccine candidates await approval. The Dow lost 0.15% at 4:27 am ET, staying just above the 30,000 point mark. However, the Nasdaq 100 rose 0.24% at 4:27 am ET and the S&P 500 was 0.07% higher at the same time. The euro was flat against the dollar, going for 1.18954 at 4:28 am ET. |
