South Korean Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki (pictured) remarked on Thursday Seoul was planning to enforce the V-shaped recovery of the country's economy, heavily affected by the coronavirus pandemic, in 2021. "The government will make further efforts to help the country's economy grow 3.2% next year and create 150,000 jobs," he said. Earlier, Hong unveiled the government's "Korean New Deal," a "national development strategy to overcome the COVID-19 crisis and lead the global economy once the crisis wanes." |
