Norwegian Air announced on Friday the company has canceled the last 88-jet order from Airbus, as the coronavirus pandemic continued to take a toll on the airline industry.

The Norwegian low-cost airline was already fined last year after terminating aircraft contracts with both Airbus and Boeing, when the company agreed to pay a $93.51 million impairment charge.
