Apple shares drag Dow 600pts in the red

The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 600 points or 2.4% at 9:04 pm CET led by Apple Inc sharp losses of 5.15%. Apple was the worst trading stock on the Dow where all stocks traded in the red. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 slid 2.32% at 9:07 pm CET and the S&P 500 dropped 2.09% at the same time. Nasdaq losses were led by Ross Stores plunging 9.0% at 9:08 pm CET, while on the S&P 500 the worst performer was L Brands Inc. losing 16.40%.

Tech stocks, known as FAANG, continued to trade in the red on Tuesday, with Facebook Inc. losing 0.36% at 9:10 pm CET, slightly rebounding from the earlier sharp losses. Inc. lost 1.4% at 9:10 pm CET, while Google's parent company Alphabet Inc. increased 0.40% at 9:11 pm CET. Netflix Inc. decreased 1.69% at 9:11 pm CET and Microsoft Corporation was down 3.35% at 9:12 pm CET.

The euro traded 0.76% in the red against the dollar to sell for 1.1364 pm CET.
