PepsiCo posts EPS of $1.33 in Q4, up 5%

American food and beverage corporation PepsiCo, Inc. announced on Thursday its earnings per share (EPS) in the fourth quarter of 2020 rose 5% on the year to $1.33. Meanwhile, the Pepsi soda maker said net revenue rose 8.8% to $22.46 billion during the same period, topping analyst expectations.

"For 2021, we are planning for our organic revenue and core constant currency EPS growth to be consistent with our long-term objectives. We have also announced a 5 percent increase in our annualized dividend, starting with the June 2021 dividend payment," Chairman and CEO Ramon Laguarta said in a statement.

Shares of PepsiCo were down 0.51% to $137 during premarket trading after the company released its earnings report.
