Baidu down 3% in US premarket after HK listing

The shares of Baidu Inc. listed on the New York Stock Exchange were down over 3% in premarket trade on Tuesday after the Chinese tech company completed its secondary listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) earlier in the day.

In the United States, Baidu's shares decreased by 2.49% to $259.50 at 7:13 am ET.

Following its debut in Hong Kong and selling 95 million shares, or 3.4% of its total stock, the company's shares closed flat at the HKEX, selling for HK$252 after briefly reaching a daily high of HK$256.60.
