Wall Street opens mostly higher amid capital gains tax rebound

Major stock markets in the United States opened mostly higher during the trading session on Friday, as they are trying to rebound from yesterday's turbulent session following the capital gains tax increase report. Meanwhile, American Express reported a per annum revenue decrease of 12% to $9.1 billion, as JPMorgan Chase & Co. apologized for their role in financing the Europa Super League.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was flat at the opening bell, as Intel Corp fell 7.02% at 9:43 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 increased by 0.23%, while S&P 500 was also up by 0.15%. Skyworks Solutions was the leader on both indexes with a rising 5.19% at 9:32 am ET and 4.09% at 9:47 am ET respectively.

The euro increased by 0.44% trading for 1.20670 against the dollar.
