US lower premarket after Fed leaves interest rate unaltered

Major stock market indexes in the United States moved below the flatline in the premarket on Thursday, after the US Federal Reserve voted to leave the key interest rate unchanged the day before.

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell asserted in his remarks that it is too soon to discuss a change of Fed's response to the crisis, adding that the economic recovery in the US is not complete.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 0.37% or 124 points at 4:20 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 dipped 0.62% at the same time. A minute later, the S&P 500 lost 0.39%. The euro went down 0.39% versus the dollar at 4:22 am ET, selling for 1.19480.
