SpaceX wins NASA contract for Jupiter mission

The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced that it has selected SpaceX to provide launch services to the first mission to Jupiter's moon Europa.

The mission, which is set to take place in October 2024, will use the company's Falcon Heavy rocket. SpaceX will receive approximately $178 million for the services.

The goal of the mission, named Europa Clipper, is to investigate whether the moon has conditions suitable for life.
