US opens flat to higher after records

Shares on the major stock market indexes in the United States opened the session flat to higher on Wednesday after the Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500 reached fresh record highs the day before.

US President Joe Biden is scheduled to meet with major technology, financial, and energy companies' executives in order to tackle challenges in the cybersecurity field.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 stood flat at the open. The Nasdaq 100 gained 0.2% as the session started, with Intuit soaring 4.44% a minute later. The euro slid 0.14% versus the dollar, selling for 1.17401 at 9:29 am ET.
