Boeing's Q3 revenue climbs 8% YoY to $15.3B

The Boeing Company unveiled on Wednesday that its revenue for the third quarter of the fiscal year increased by 8% when compared to the same period last year to climb to $15.3 billion.

At the same time, the company reported a decrease to its net loss going from $466 million last year to $132 million in 2021, while its loss per share amounted to $0.19. However, earnings from operations amounted to $329 million, a significant jump from 2020's loss from operations of $401 million.

Boeing CEO David Calhoun noted that: "We are driving stability across our operations, investing in our future and positioning our teams to deliver for our customers as the market recovers. Going forward, supply chain capacity and global trade will be key drivers of our industry and the broader economy's recovery."

Boeing shares were up by 0.81% in premarket trading following the release of the report.
