HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, and Asustek are cutting their growth perspective for the next six months amid the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and the distress in the supply chain, reportedly said Nikkei Asia, citing an executive of a supplier to those significant computer makers.

"We started to receive notices from some clients to build less components and parts since the middle of February, and we've been in constant communication with the clients in the past one month over the dynamic market situation since the war...Now one of their priorities is to carefully manage their inventory level at retail channels," said the executive.

Leading manufacturers are instructing their suppliers to reduce output in the coming quarters, while some of the smaller ones have cut component orders by as much as 20% for the April to June period.
