American coffeehouse chain Starbucks Corp. announced on Friday it has reopened two-thirds of its stores in China following the end of the two-month-long coronavirus-related lockdown in Shanghai. "This week, Starbucks Partners in China celebrated the reopening of 600 of our 900 stores in Shanghai, including the Shanghai Roastery to mobile and to-go orders. After more than two months of lockdown, excited customers offered kind words and smiles in lines down the street," the company shared in a Twitter post. Starbucks also added that it would continue reopening the rest of the stores in the upcoming weeks. |
