European markets turn to losses after PMI data

Major European markets turned to losses on Tuesday's session after the publication of the economic data on services PMI from the European Union and Germany.

Minutes earlier, S&P Global published that Germany's services activity stood at 52.4 in June, the lowest figure in five months. Meanwhile, the Eurozone Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) Composite Output Index stood at 52.0, the lowest level in 16 months.

The DAX lost 0.32% at 10:20 am CET, while the CAC 40 fell by 0.50%, and the FTSE 100 decreased by 0.61%. The euro and the pound were down by 0.67% and 0.30% at 10:17 am CET, selling for $1.03525 and $1.20676, respectively.
