Precious metals slip after upbeat jobs data

Prices of precious metals dropped on Friday after a report by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics unveiled that nonfarm employment in the country rose by 263,000 in November, going above analysts' projections.

Gold lost 1.22% to sell for $1,782.01 at 8:48 am ET, while silver dropped 1.76% to $22.38 a minute later. Platinum declined by 3.16% to go for $1,012.98 an ounce, while palladium concurrently moved down by 1.43% to $1.891.10
