Asia mixed on inflation worries

Major stock market indexes in Asia started the week's trading session mixed with investors seemingly reacting to key United States unemployment figures released on Friday and with the worries about spiking infections weighing in on market sentiment.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng lost 0.6% at 4:47 am CET, while, on the Chinese mainland, the Shenzhen Composite traded 0.12% lower, as the Shanghai Composite gained 0.17%.

South Korea's Kospi Composite and the Australian S&P/ASX 200 traded flat at 4:49 am CET, as the dollar went 0.07% up against the yen, going for ¥109.5985. Japan's Nikkei 225 added 0.22% at 4:35 am CET.
