US higher premarket prior to manufacturing data

Stock markets on Wall Street posted gains ahead of Monday's session with investors expecting July manufacturing PMI data set for release after the opening bell.

Over the weekend, Senate finalized the legislative language for the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure deal, bringing the long-awaited legislation to the upper house floor. On the coronavirus front, White House health advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci insisted the United States won't see another lockdown over the spread of the Delta strain.

The Dow Jones surged 0.54% or 188 points at 4:36 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 rose 0.60%. The S&P 500 increased by 0.65%. A minute later, the euro gained 0.15% against the dollar to sell for 1.18856.
