German prosecutors have conducted raids on Wednesday, as a part of an investigation into the diesel emissions scandal from 2015 that hit its parent company Volkswagen AG. Former and current managers at Porsche were questioned on fraud and misleading advertising allegations.

The raid encompassed 10 locations in the country's southern states of Baden-Wuerttemberg and Bavaria, while in other parts of the country prosecutors are also looking into the alleged involvement of another Volkswagen's subsidiary, Audi, in the carbon emissions scandal and suspect market manipulation.
