India finds big breweries conspired on prices - report

Indian competition regulator found that executives from Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV, Carlsberg A/S, and United Breweries Holdings Ltd. colluded to fix beer prices, media reported on Friday.

The Competition Commission of India reportedly started the investigation last year after being notified by AB InBev it detected an industry cartel. The probe established up to two dozen brewer executives held talks on beer prices before submitting them to the country's state regulators, which is in violation of the country's antitrust laws, Reuters wrote.
