GM urges court to reinstate charges against FCA

General Motors Co. called for the reinstatement of racketeering case against smaller rival Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV, citing new facts as the reason.

In its request, the automaker claims FCA's top executives used secret offshore bank accounts to hide millions of dollars in bribes that were used to disrupt the negotiations between GM and United Auto Workers.

"These new facts warrant amending the court's prior judgment, so we are respectfully asking the court to reinstate the case," the automaker said in the statement.
