Europe opens in green as Brexit deal hopes persist

Equities on major European stock markets traded higher at the opening bell on Friday as investors mainly focus on negotiations between London and Brussels on the two sides' post-Brexit trade relations. European Commission's Head of Task Force for Relations with the United Kingdom Michel Barnier asserted that the European Union remains determined to reach the deal.

On the economy front, President of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde claimed that the central bank stands ready to use all tools available to help the Eurozone through the "unbelievable crisis."

The DAX in Frankfurt added 0.56% to open the session as Daimler climbed nearly 4% at 9:04 am CET. Meanwhile, the CAC 40 jumped 1.41% with LVMH surging over 5% at 9:02 am CET and the FTSE 100 rose 0.86% as Burberry Group strengthened more than 5% at 9:03 am CET. The euro was flat against the greenback, trading for 1.17037 at 9:01 am CET.
