The Saudi-led coalition said on Friday it intercepted and destroyed three booby-trapped drones launched by Yemeni Houthi rebels towards Saudi Arabia, Alekhbariya News reported.

According to the coalition, the drones were launched from the Yemeni city of Hodeidah.

Last month, the Saudi-backed Yemeni government accused the Houthi rebels of being behind the bombing of the Aden Airport, which killed 22 and wounded over 50 people. The Houthis denied they were responsible for that attack.
