Siemens AG unveiled on Wednesday that the company's earnings per share reached €1.72 in the first quarter of fiscal 2021, after rising 29% compared to the same period a year earlier. Siemens' net income surged 38% on an annual basis, climbing to €1.49 billion in the first trimester of the year.

For the same period, the tech firm's orders came in at €15.94 billion, 11% higher year-on-year as the company's revenue jumped 3% on the year to €14.07 billion.
