LVMH's Arnault takes over from Bezos as world's richest man

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton owner Bernard Arnault (pictured) and his family took over from Jeff Bezos as the world's richest, according to Forbes.

As of Monday, Forbes' Real-Time Billionaires is estimated Arnault's wealth at $186.4 billion, compared to Bezos' $186 billion. The LVMH owner's wealth rose by $765 million or 0.41% since the previous update. The luxury company's shares rose 0.40% at 3:30 am CET and gained 24% since the beginning of the year.

Meanwhile, Tesla founder Elon Musk is third on the list with a net worth of $147.3 billion, followed by Bill Gates at $125.5 billion.
