Airbus SE informed suppliers that it expects to produce 64 A320 aircraft per month by the second quarter of 2023, while "a continued recovering market" would lead the airplane manufacturer to make 70 A320s by the first quarter of 2024 and 75 by 2025.

In the fourth quarter of this year, monthly A320 output will stand at 45 planes, the company specified in a press release on Thursday.

Airbus also projects "the commercial aircraft market to recover to pre-COVID levels between 2023 and 2025." CEO Guillaume Faury noted that "the message to our supplier community provides visibility to the entire industrial ecosystem to secure the necessary capabilities and be ready when market conditions call for it."
