The number of jobs in the United States' private sector went up by 978,000 in May in comparison to the month before, significantly above expectations, the newest Automatic Data Processing's (ADP) National Employment Report revealed on Thursday.

According to the survey, most people – 338,000 – were hired in midsized companies. The number of people employed in large businesses increased by 308,000, and in small enterprises by 333,000.
