Norwegian association football manager and former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer extended on Saturday his contract with Manchester United FC until 2024.

"Everyone knows the feeling I have for this club, and I am delighted to have signed this new contract," Solksjaer said. "I have a fantastic coaching team around me, and we are all ready to take that next step on our journey. Manchester United wants to be winning the biggest and best trophies, and that's what we are all striving for."

Solskjaer signed his first managerial contract with Manchester United in 2018. He most recently led the team to the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League Final. Solskjaer previously played for the club from 1996 to 2007, winning, among other honors, one UEFA Champions League and six Premier League titles.
