Sanofi Q2 net sales up 12.4% to €8.74 billion

Sanofi S.A. said on Thursday that its sales grew 12.4% to €8.74 billion in the second quarter of 2021, while on the other hand, revealing a net income drop of 84.1% to €1.21 billion or €0.97 earnings per share.

"The Sanofi business momentum has accelerated in the second quarter, delivering strong financial results driven by our core growth drivers Dupixent and Vaccines. We continue to deliver on our Play to Win strategy, and our second-quarter performance gives us confidence in Sanofi’s growth trajectory for this year. Consequently, we are raising our full-year EPS guidance to around 12%," CEO Paul Hudson noted.

Commenting on the outlook, Sanofi increased its full-year business earnings per share guidance.
