Europe closes with gains tenth consecutive session

Major stock markets in Europe closed with gains on Friday for the tenth consecutive trading session, marking the longest run of highs since 1990. The DAX reached an all-time high surpassing the 16,000 points level. Eurostat revealed that the export of goods from the Eurozone was up 23.8% year-on-year, while the imports grew by 28.2%. Meanwhile, Tesla's CEO Elon Musk visited Berlin and shared his hopes to begin vehicle production in October.

The DAX closed with 0.25% in the green as Adidas rose by 2.34%. The FTSE 100 was up 0.35% led by Segro growing by 2.19%, while the CAC 40 gained 0.20% with Bouygues adding 3.43%

The euro jumped by 0.56% against the dollar to trade for $1.17958 at 5:34 CET, at the same time the British pound advanced by 0.36% exchanging hands for $1.28592.
