European markets open mostly higher

Markets in Europe opened mostly higher on Wednesday as investors awaited German business climate data and anticipated the Jackson Hole summit set to take place later this week.

The FTSE 100 was flat at 9:00 am CET.

The DAX added 0.15% at 9:03 am CET. Adidas led the gains, climbing 1.59% at 9:04 am CET.

The CAC 40 rose 0.29% at 9:00 am CET. The best performer was Kering whose stock jumped 1.05% at 9:01 am CET.

The euro lost 0.19% against the dollar to sell for 1.17347 at 9:01 am CET and the pound was down 0.13% compared to the greenback to go for 1.37103 at the same time.
