Intel Corporation Chief Executive Officer Pat Gelsinger stated that the company isn't considering the United Kingdom for its new factory due to Brexit.

Gelsinger noted that Intel is currently looking to get support from the European Union, which is why it is looking at member states to place its new factory. Moreover, he also said that he hopes that the company will make a decision on the new site before the year is out.

Lastly, Gelsinger commented on the global supply crisis, saying that nobody should be "too dependent on somebody else" and that it will be a "while" before things return to normal when it comes to semiconductors and microchips.
