US down premarket following record highs

Equities on Wall Street traded lower in the premarket session on Thursday, following Dow Jones' record high yesterday. Investors will be waiting for today's batch of earnings reports, which include American Airlines, AT&T, Blackstone, Intel, and Snap.

Meanwhile, United States President Joe Biden advocated for his infrastructure and social spending packages, while his predecessor launched his media and tech company. On the pandemic front, federal regulators approved the use of coronavirus booster shots.

The Dow Jones traded 0.32% in the red at 4:30 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 was down by 0.26% a minute later. The S&P 500 declined 0.28% at 4:32 am ET. The euro lost 0.12% to the dollar trading for $1.16378 at 4:33 am ET.
