Friday, 22. October 2021 03:10

A Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) panel unanimously decided to recommend boosters of Moderna and Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccines.

Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices also opened the option of "mixing and matching," allowing Americans to choose a different company’s brand for that next shot.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) already authorized the boosters and the CDC has officially made its recommendations once they were greenlighted by CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, clearing the shots for immediate distribution.
